Those who are close to me know that I absolutely LOVE flowers, gardens and landscaping. Not only do I love flowers, but so does my Little Prince. He always takes the time to “stop and smell the roses”.
Fresh bouquets are a must in my home as well as having a few potted plants. It just warms up any space and gives LIFE to any room. Nature provides us so many ways of improving emotional health and well being. We just gotta take the time and notice. Aaah, I just love mother nature and how she wants us happy and healthy. Ok ok, that was my inner flower child coming out.
I mean, there is scientific proof that flowers have positive effects on the quality of life. So it’s not just the hippy in me.
It started as a child. I remember my grand-MAMASITA (as I refer to her) taking such pride and pleasure in tending to her various potted plants and flowers. To this day her yard is perfectly manicured and no vase is ever empty. Thinking of her excitement for the newest blooms or the scent of a flower brings a smile to my face. We share those commonalities and that I will forever hold dear.
I have been blessed with some amazing women in my life and that is what I am grateful for this holiday season!
Notice my baby’s tie under all that fur…It was Gifted from mamasita.
